Doveva essere un giorno di allenamento come tanti, invece si è trasformato in un incubo. Intorno a mezzogiorno di oggi, lungo la strada provinciale Cervese, un ciclista impegnato nella preparazione per l’Ironman è caduto violentemente, riportando un grave trauma cranico.
Secondo una prima ricostruzione, l’uomo sarebbe stato superato da un camion all’altezza del rettilineo dell’autovelox, in direzione Cervia. Nessun impatto diretto, ma il passaggio ravvicinato del mezzo pesante avrebbe generato un vuoto d’aria tale da spingerlo contro il muretto che separa la carreggiata dalla ciclabile. La caduta è stata pesante: immediato l’intervento dei soccorsi, che lo hanno trasportato d’urgenza in ospedale.
Un episodio che riaccende i riflettori sulla sicurezza di chi si allena su strada. A volte basta poco nemmeno un urto, solo l’aria per spezzare una corsa. E rischiare tutto.
